Wedding - White

Pair of striking earrings featuring precious handmade glass beads crafted in Murano, famously known as the glass island in Venice.

Lampwork beads are made by melting glass rods in a torch flame and wrapping the molten glass around a thin metal rod known as a mandrel.
This antique technique—once done with oil lamps—enables to shape, design, and embellish beads with a variety of colors, patterns, and decorative details.

These stunning beads are matt white, made with glass rods from the 1940s.
This particular shade of white, similar to candles white, and is no longer in production, making these beads a rare find.
Also featuring flowers, swirl motifs and a gold avventurina band. This style of bead is known as "wedding cake" and was the most popular in Venetian's fashion scene in the 1700s.
The main beads are framed by two small avventurina beads.
